Ken Hoffman

Ken’s Bio will be up soon so in the mean time read David Nuno’s bio.

David Nuno

With more than 10 years in sports broadcasting and marketing, Houston native, David Nuno knows what it takes to play hard and win.

Prior to getting in The Game, he worked as the weekend sports anchor and reporter for ABC affiliates KXXV-Waco and KRHD-Bryan/College Station where he lived the dream of covering alma mater Texas A&M. As co-host, David was key in developing and producing KXXV’s “First Football Wrap Up,” a weekly Friday-night high school football program reporting on the best of Central Texas high school football.

Before making his big break into broadcast, David was the marketing and communications manager for the Harris County Houston Sports Authority. In addition to attracting major national sporting events to the Houston area, he was instrumental in recruiting professional soccer to the city.

And ask him about the email to Dallas Mavs owner Mark Cuban which led to his two-year gig as the team’s corporate and Hispanic marketing manager. While there he also found himself tapped often for his emcee skills hosting various events and games including the nationally broadcasted 2003 Maverick Dancer Auditions. David’s talent under pressure and in front of 20,000 screaming NBA fans earned him a reputation for his colorful interview style and even made national sports headlines.

His first radio interview was with then Rangers owner, President George W. Bush for KZNE AM 1150 (formerly WTAW), “The Heart of the Brazos Valley,” where he worked as a reporter/producer for the “Chip Howard Show.”

David has a degree in broadcast journalism. He grew up in Houston, and still has nightmarish flashbacks to old Oilers playoff games. After following sports jobs to the West Coast and around Texas, Nuno is thrilled to come home. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two dogs, Barkley and Havana.
